For the 2025 Northwest Europe Para Ice Hockey League, the competing teams will be trialling a new group system.

These groups will allow for longer games to be played while making the overall days shorter, meaning players can perform at their best all weekend.

This decision follows feedback from some of the teams after last year’s competition. As a result a new group system has been agreed and will be trialled for NEPIHL25.

The groups are made up of the winners and losers of last year’s head to head finals.

As hosts, Sheffield Steelkings will sit in Group A alongside the Neuilly-Sur-Marne Les Bisons and the Amsterdam Tigers.

Group B will consist of last year’s winners; Jyväskyla Sisu, Antwerp Phantoms, and Dordrecht Lime Kings.
